FBINAA Expo
Lucky Technology, Inc. recently attended the FBINAA Expo and Conference in Jacksonville, Florida. The Expo was held July 13-15 and most localities from Florida were represented.
FBI National Academy Associates is an international organization of senior law enforcement professionals dedicated to providing various communities with the highest degree of law enforcement expertise, training, education and information.
From its inception in 1935, the FBI National Academy has long been a vital element in the continuing improvement of law enforcement standards,knowledge, and cooperation throughout the world. The National Academy and the FBIs (Field Police Training Program) provide a wide range of leadership and specialized training, as well as an opportunity for professional law enforcement officials to share ideas, techniques, and experiences.
Law enforcement professionals from across the eastern US attended the convention. Lucky Technology, Inc. exhibited iGuard biometric readers that were viewed by the hundreds of law enforcement officials who were in attendance.

Southern Lock Open House
Lucky Technology, Inc. was the guest of Southern Locks open house July
2-3. Southern is a distributor-reseller serviced by American Biometric
Systems of Titusville, Florida. Each year Southern invites their largest
and newest vendors to their event where many dealers from across the state
come to view new and existing Southern products. Lucky’s President, Wayne
Wilkerson attended the event and talked with many potential dealers about
iGuard and its state of the art technology.

Lucky Technology, Inc. exhibits at Business Alliance South
Atlanta, GA –
Large companies from the southeast United States sent business contact personnel to Atlanta, GA to meet privately with small business leaders on a one-to-one basis.
Lucky Technology, US was represented by Wayne Wilkerson, it’s President, Bill Moss and Richy Lewis; Sales Engineers and Jim Holcombe with American Biometric Systems. The one day convention was structured so that Management personnel had pre-arranged meetings with the corporation’s executives that were responsible for making the proper contacts back at their home offices.
Among those companies that expressed interest in iGuard ® were; The US Air Force – Charleston AFB, Caddell Construction Company, USDA Forrest Service, Boeing Company and the Georgia Department of Corrections. iGuard ® also received a bid invitation from the US Army Corps of Engineers.

iGuard Exhibited at ISC East 2007, New York
New York City was the site for over 400 of the industry’s leading manufacturers as they participated in the International Security Conference. More than 10,000 security professionals saw first hand the latest innovations and security solutions for both physical and IT security.
iGuard ® received much attention from corporate executives looking to increase their overall security and add useful networking capabilities to their overall security program.
Among those companies that visited the Lucky exhibit were; Amtrak, Department of Homeland Security, Con Edison, the New York City Transit/MTA, Target stores and Bank of America.
Representing Lucky Technology were Wayne Wilkerson, President of US Operations, Richy Lewis, Engineering Technical Support and Lisa Shelton, Marketing VP with Biometric Security Solutions in Chicago.

Lucky Inc. Exhibits at the ISC West
Las Vegas - Lucky Technology, Inc. and it’s supply chain partners Biometric Security Solutions and American Biometric Systems
, exhibited at the International Security Conference recently in Las Vegas. More than 30,000 attendees came from all over the United States and abroad to view the latest in electronic security systems and other security equipment. Many excellent leads were taken from the exhibit and Lucky Inc. expects to gain many new dealers as a result.
Keith Lau, Marketing Director for the parent company attended from Hong Kong and added to the enthusiasm among the participants.
Lisa Shelton, VP Marketing, Joyce Shelton, President and Brad Shelton, VP Operations were there from Biometric Security Solutions near Chicago.

Highlight: The webpage can be prevented from unauthorized browsing by checking the checkbox Must Authenticate before Access under the web server options in the Terminal Setup page. The username and password are then required to view the Terminal Status page of iGuard. In addition to that being available the user can specify the IP address range of those computers which can access the iGuard webpage under Web server options.

Great Success in CMI Conference was held recently in Tucson, Arizona
Lucky Technology, US Operations and Jim Holcombe with American Biometric Systems have just participated in the CMI Conference in the US which is held by The Construction and Maintenance Institute for Criminal Justice Agencies,
(CMI). Jim said the Tucson conference was not a big show like ASIS, but the discussions we had
with member attendees and other exhibitors produced some very good leads.

Highlight: You can connect iGuard directly to your corporate network. To do so you only need to assign a device name and IP address to the unit. It is possible to use the DHCP server in your network to dynamically assign the IP address, but it is suggested that you assign a static IP address to the unit to avoid connection problems.

Highlight: Utilization of a rectifier diode (1N4004) is necessary to protect the door relay of the iGuard unit from the power surge generated from the switching of the door strike. The back EMF can be as high as 6 times the normal current flow during the switching duration.

We are pleased to now have a 10 foot show exhibit. This is portable and erects in less than 10 min. The exhibit is available to all of our Distributors and is transported in its own container. It weighs 78# and can be shipped via UPS; etc.

Why only 32 departments were allowed ? When we created LM520 series, we were trying to make it backward compatible to FPS110 series. LM520 series combines the smartcard and fingerprint database but with only 32 bits left for identifying departments.
