its first embedded web server product
iGuard ® aiming at the access control

- May 2003: A New Era
of Lucky Technology, More Aggressive Plan
for Valued Added Resellers Recruitment
A re-launch of Lucky
Technology's new image as a provider of
scalable platform, based on embedded web
server, that leverages on the importance
of using smart cards and RFID tags to
access daily services, and permits data
management anytime, anywhere via the Internet.
More aggressive plan to recruit international
value added resellers.
- Oct 2001- Apr 2003:
Lucky Appointed Hectrix Limited as an
Exclusive Sales and Marketing Agent
Thanks for the past
sales and marketing effort the period
of time. iGuard and iBonus received more
local awards and international award.
However, Lucky terminated Hectrix on May
15th, 2003. Lucky will continue to support
and warranty iGuard sold by Hectrix ONLY
before May 15th, 2003.
- 2000 - 2002: Technology
Fund Hong Kong SERAP I/II
In year 2000/2002,
Lucky received the Hong Kong government's
technology fund SERAP Phase I for product
iGuard and Phase II for product iBonus.

- 1999: Founded Lucky
Technology and Introduced iGuard
Lucky was founded
by two technocrats Brian Leung and Jacky
Hui in 1999. Brian sees the power of Internet
and its proliferation, and he decided
to build a new sets of appliances based
on the Internet and Internet infrastructure
(TCP/IP protocol). With the assistance
from an embedded system design veteran,
Jacky, iGuard, an embedded web server
based access control and time attendance
appliance with fingerprint authentication,
was the first product introduced in 1999.
